the Bear SG no.. they are like our dugong.. they look the same except their tails are round instead of like the dugong which looks like a dolphin tail... the speedboats hit them and the propellers slash the poor things to pieces, usually killing them
the Bear SG Dugong Manatee they're pretty big but both are very slow.. they eat sea-grass and other plants... being mammals, they'll need to breathe so they live around places where the sea is calm.. favourite places for people in speedboats.. when they are hit by speedboats, they are usually slashed badly.. imagine propellers slashing them many times.. so they usually die from the wounds p.s. lin, manatees and dugongs are different but both are very gentle.. note the shape of their tails
fudgester SG *me lubs beard* If I'm not wrong, dugongs and manatees could have given rise to the legend of the mermaid, since they supposedly look like humans with fishtails when viewed at a distance.
the Bear SG yeah.. they were the "sirens" of the sea.. but i love them coz they're so gentle i think there's a dugong in the zoo.. one of these days, i want to go back to have a look again... in other news, Nicky Heidfeld just overtook Alonzo! brilliant move!

the Bear SG yah.. but they are in shallow enough water so that predation doesn't affect them so much... in shallow water = no big sharks and fewer orca.. and orca prefer colder waters too

the Bear SG ahahaha.. Fuel Filler flap was open and screwing up the aerodynamics of a car.. so much so that another part of the car failed! these cars are so on the edge of disasters
