You may recall that several months ago I was deciding between
either Aeronautical Engineering or Offshore Oil and Gas Engineering
as my specialisation. The former is my field of interest, while the
latter is a somewhat easier path.
In the end, I chose the former as I didn't want to have any
regrets. I had been dreaming of becoming an aircraft engineer after
being inspired by my uncle, who works as a senior engineer at ST
Aerospace. When I was young, he gave me lots of model DIY military
aircraft to work on. Heck, he willingly became one of the
guarantors for my study loans.
And touch my heart, I'm not regretting my choice. If I had chosen
something else, I would probably be mentally kicking myself to
death right now for tossing aside the one and only chance to
fulfill my dreams.
But at the same time, I can't help but wonder whether my
capabilities are up to the task. Having big dreams is one thing,
but ability is another thing altogether.
I dunno man.... I guess I'm just having some bad vibes.
