My bf had bought me a 0.25 carat diamond solitaire ring from SK
which costs about 500bucks. He told me I can bring my ring over and
upgrade in the future. Do it means that I can trade in this
500bucks ring and pay an additional 500bucks to get a 1000bucks
ring in the future? However, I’ve heard that there’s a depreciation
rate involved too. True?
Another question is which carat size that most people will go
for?
Lastly, I am wondering which jewellery shop do most people
prefer? SK? Sookee? Lee hwa? Citigems? Do share with me
Gold prices are always going up and down. But for long term, it
is noticed to go up. Buying Jewellery/Gold are long term
investments.
You have to check with SK regarding the "upgrade".
Carat size depends on what you are going to do. For wearing, it
depends on the finger. For investments, remember the 4 Cs.
Definately bigger the better.
SK and Soo Kee are the same company but doing different level of
market. Soo Kee is for higher standards thus more pricey.
Lee Hwa, Gold Heart and Citigems are the same too.
Buy Brilliant Rose Diamonds at Soo Kee, Destinee Diamonds at Lee
Hwa.
According to some web info, Brilliant Rose Diamonds has much
more shine than Destinee. Was compared by some gemologist.
