viciouskitty74 SG They sent me a letter before I flew off to USA. Your salary is less then 22 thousand so you do not need to file taxes. And that property tax thingy.....they make me pay by installments. About $10 and something cents per month. I was wondering.....that giro is automatic....But couldnt they deduct the full sum one shot? Its like only $34/-!

Meia Gisborn SG I've never paid a cent of personal income tax in Singapore, but from what I've been told by friends who live and work there, the income tax rates in Singapore are surprisingly low vis-a-vis other 'developed' countries.
