the Bear SG it's the Yarra... just beside Flinder's across the river, is a great place to just sit and have coffee and cake... that's where i first saw Stomp! they were performing on a barge.. i think it was the Moomba festival i may be there next year for the Formula 1 races on the pretext of visiting my sister
Rhonda SG I found out from a few of my colleagues that I can somehow weasel free entrance into da F1 races by volunteering to be a nurse there!
Rhonda SG OK... what pics do you guys wanna see more? I got limited time before the library closes... and tons of photos to share! Food? Flowers? Cityscapes?
Rhonda SG Alamak... ok, I surrender! By popular demand, here's a photo of THE toilet cum bathroom, taken before I officially moved in. My apologies to the keen toilet peeps that the toilet bowl is out of view in this photo! Need me to take an updated toilet shot or not? Anyways, that space beside the shower stall has since been taken up by my washing machine cum dryer liao.
the Bear SG go take pics of souvlaki.. especially from The Souvlaki Bar near the Target in the city...
Rhonda SG Sometimes, if you watch the trams when they pass by, there'll be ZZZzzzzzt!! Piak!! ... sparks of electricity coming out from the wires on top!
Rhonda SG For public transport, the trams and trains are the main modes. The trams are safe lah! Not to worry! I LOVE to see the electricity sparks! They're like mini fireworks! Sometimes orange, sometimes blue, sometimes blue then yellow and orange!
Rhonda SG Here's the first meal I cooked in my new kitchen! In case you can't guess what was in my lunchbox, it was chai bor ng (Preserved Turnips Omelette) with Stir Fried Broccolini and Oyster Mushrooms! Broccolini is one hybrid veg (Kana Chai married da Broccoli and gave birth to da Broccolini! ) that came out in the US about two or three years back and I've been DYING to try it and FINALLY, I got to eat it! I love the broccolini! The stems are long and slender and tasty like the kana chai whilst the heads are like mini broccoli! Brilliant! Easy to prepare too! Just cut a bit off the ends, and cook whole if you're lazy to cut them up! BTW, is the Broccolini available in Singapore yet?
