These have now been elevated to the status of COMFORT FOOD, ok!
It's not like I can go downstairs or cross the road to some
kopitiam and order a bowl for S$2 or S$2.50 now so of course,
whatever the cost, if it's authentic, or close to it, and eases the
homesickness, I'll pay to eat it! 
I don't have cravings for Souvlavki cause it's all over the place
here. Just like I have no cravings for sandwiches and pasta cause
it's so easy to get them here. But it's not like you get Mee Pok
everywhere here, and yeah, they DO make me feel really good when
eating them so it's not just the food per se, but the allaying of
homesickness.
That's why they're called comfort food, mah!
