the Bear SG

for a Dell???

for that kind of price, you still want to go with Windoze??

if so, go get a Sony VIAO...

or better still, get a MacBook Pro!

people who know, won't even think of a Dell much less consider it...

seriously..

anyway, go ask my sister who is over there.. maybe she got kang tau for a notebook..

stellazio SG

a dell is not worth that much.. i won't go over 2.3k sgd for a dell..

with that amount, u can probaly do a DIY with the top end specs for probaly half the price.

troublemaker2005 SG

what piangs....6k can build one kick- @ss computer if u dun one a portable unit! if you want a portable unit (like lappie) 6k more choices out there...this one shown not that portabble leh

Mr. Green

Rhonda SG

I just like the innovative design of this laptop, leh! Razz Embarassed Is Dell really THAT bad? I had a dell PC that served me very well when I was there - fast to setup with no problems whatsoever!

Kenashi SG

wait for 1 yr after the warranty then u see problems

elindra SG

I won't even consider buying a Dell PC Surprised

Don't be fooled by the design

the Bear SG

don't worry for cult leader...

my sister over there, with the full force of her company's tech section, will help hammer out a good deal for the cult leader when she needs a PC...

and they'll use force if necessary to get her away from the evil that is Dell Laughing

i think when my sister talked to them about someone she knows going to get a Dell, there was pandemonium and almost a riot (even without knowing who it was) in their urgency to stop that person

so rest assured Wink

btw, i think they got a sweet deal for my sister.. a nice notebook with an AMD chip, good specs, and a DVD-RW drive.. for i think under A$2k.. by Asus, no less..

i would think that the cult leader will be in good hands Very Happy

elindra SG

Asus make good lappies Mr. Green

the Bear SG

yeah.. i know..

was kinda worried for my sis... almost wanted to buy a notebook and send it to her... but then, she told me of this and i was relieved Wink

i think my sis will help the cult leader find some lobang to get a PC or notebook so she's in safe hands Wink

but still, i'd recommend an iMac Twisted Evil

elindra SG

You and your iMacs Mr. Green

the Bear SG

but of course...

look at the thing in the first post, and compare that to a 20-inch 2GB iMac for cheaper.. Laughing

or a MacBook Pro which runs even faster than the iMac...

what would you get? (remember... these are the new Core Duo Intel chips.. you can make them dual-bootable with windoze xp)

stellazio SG

alienware makes the most funky and cool laptops man.. how i wish i have one. Crying or Very sad

SingaporeMacross SG

dell sucks! they sell you technology that’s going to be obsolete!!

SexyChin SG

Later the laptop burst into flames then you know arh. Laughing

the Bear SG

let's see.. dell PCs.. accounted for 1 truck, and a few other things Laughing

i really must get my sister to get the cult leader a PROPER computer

ceecookie SG

make you breathless to see it go up in flames Laughing
