kAdEn SG I couldn't find the july edition so i thought i'll start one. just caught this book "the curious incident of the dog in the night time" by Mark Haddon. i think it's been around for a while, but i just didn't get it until over the weekend. first person narrative of an autistic child and how the family struggles to keep him in check...quite sad, but i thought the ending leaves much to be desired
kAdEn SG "Promise me" by Harlan Coben Suspense novel. Nothing spectacular. The old twists and turns, makes you suspect everyone, and then the culprit is who you never thought it was. Should probably skip this book unless you're a fan

Rhonda SG I've been busy settling down and doing up my home so it's only light reading for me! Here's what I'm reading now... it's light-reading and quite humourous too! Whilst this book is widely available in Times and Borders in Singapore, it was nowhere to be found in Melbourne! I had to ask a nice bookstore owner to order it in for me! She did just that, plus she ordered two more copies - one for herself because she flipped through the book and was amused, and another copy for the shelves in her bookstore. Read it and laugh!
