"There's uproar among the stars of Desperate Housewives as Pamela
Anderson prepares to move in next door.
"The Housewives are up in arms at the prospect of blonde bombshell
Pamela Anderson joining the show - driving the cast to threaten
strike action. 
"Sources say the main rabblerouser, Eva Longoria, has already been
spoken to by her bosses, for speaking out against Pamela and openly
showing dissent. Eva called a meeting with Marc Cherry, the
director and creator of Desperate Housewives and dropped a
bombshell : "If Pamela is in, then we're out."
"Teri Hatcher declared : "Next, he'll have us all in skimpy red
swimsuits."
And Nicole Sheridan fumed : "It's ridiculous to think about
bringing in Pamela. She's associated with Baywatch and other cheesy
shows. We're about class."
"And people say she can't act."
Marc, never one to miss a beat, shot straight back : "That's funny.
People say the same thing about you."
He's stubbornly dug in his heels and is ready to sign Pamela on a
massive salary of $375,000 per episode, show sources say. This
means she'll be earning more than some of the other Housewives.

Pamela claims to have originally been offered Teri Hatcher's role
of Susan, but turned it down as she was asked to dye her hair.
"Blonde is my trademark so I said no," Pamela says. "Now, I could
kick myself as the show is simply great."

Hmm... could have a few comic moments if Edie was pitted against
her though!
