Your Housework Style

What's ur housework style... (seeing that I am attempting to do some clean up now)... issit...

1. Scientific - You have a mental framework of the orbit of every single object belongs to and if they stray from their allocated space/time, you get into a frenzy. Dust belong to another universe. Keeping your earthly lab free from all contaminants is a responsibility you feel that mankind owes each other.

2. Technical - As long as it is technically clean, that is, the +/- 1.3% untidyness and dust is within the accepted range. The machine is working, functional, and really you can't expect it to be completely greasefree if you use it EVERYDAY right?

3. Administrative - You are a lot more tolerant towards dust than mess. The floor can be unswept, the carpet can be left to the cleaners - BUT the filing gotta be done!! The Onions MUST be placed in the basket, there is a place for shoe laces when they are being washed so please put them there. You label every single drawer.

4. Probationary - As long as nobody catches you lah, you only clean if the bosses/parents in law/friends come for a visit. Otherwise, aiyah... how dirty/untidy can it get.....

5. Ecological - It isn't dirty. It's just.. err.. ecologically friendly to a lot of ... living organisms that's all.

None of the above. Hmmm I'm an aspiring Administrative but currently far more Probationary and really occasionally sinking to Ecological standards... Sad
As you can see.. I rather waste time coming out with these posts... that mop.

but of course every sunday is our hse cleaning day

my household housecleaning routines got four levels

everyday is wash and cook

every sunday is plus vacuuming and mopping and wiping

every now and then total spring cleaning

level 4 is me

the only bum who got holidays and will be spending time cleaning every section of the house

only when the discomfort of nagging becomes more than the comfort of ignoring the nagging did i do any cleaning Laughing

and if i do go for it, it's done very quickly and very well

my room's been declared a bio-hazard .... at my first digs here, I woke up one day to find a mouse rooting around the pile of rubbish around my waste basket ....

(ps, that nest of mice got really friendly with me ... they live in a hole behind my fridge ... I took to feeding them trail mix .... there's a couple of pictures, I'll dig them up in a while ... Razz Embarassed )

It really depends on which room, how frequently you use it... and how GROSS it can get when it's dirty hahaha. How fast would that room reach your Gross Tolerance Threshold ?

Toilets definitely are at Technical cleaning level..

Kitchen & living room somewhere between tech & admin...

My spare "storage room" is safely in probationary... all my shopping is chucked in there hahaha. It's a messy wonderland.

well ... I can't bare to kill those small furry mammals .... those aren't the type of scabby rats you see behind resturant kitchens, but small brown fieldmice that burrowed into my house in the winter .....

they like wheat and oatmeal ... Razz ... but eventually my homies found out about it and kicked up a bit of a fuss .... so I trapped them in an empty pringles carton and transplanted them to the engineering faculty, those engineers are such slobs they'll find plenty of food there .... Laughing

Well basically for me some things have to be done every week

Ironing and folding of clothes
Cleaning the floor
Cleaning the fish tanks
Washing dishes have to be done immediately though
and taking out the trash daily

other than that it's unless someone is visiting Laughing
