the hobbit chose a song out of his league last night with the
blues song.. he does not have that whisky-rich voice for that

karaoke
the jay leno jr fella, butchered In The Ghetto... it is an intense
song.. the lyrics demanded pure and utter seriousness and
intensity, with a touch of sorrow, and a lot of hope.. it was
turned into funk.. Jailhouse Rock was.. silly.. and a bad rehash of
the Blues Brothers version
the girl, forgettable... she forgot the lyrics and flubbed her
lines in the first song... and she butchered Can't Help Falling by
indulging in vocal gymnastics, belting and screaming... in a song
which is supposed to be tender.. it could have been a whimsical
song and still work, but she chose the "intense" version and then
mashed it..
the bald dude, he did the best actually.. Suspicious Minds was done
well although it needed a little bit of desperation, fatigue and
hope to be injected... the first part of A Little Less Conversation
was a bit flat but that's the song.. maybe it wasn't released in
the past by The King because of that? but The King did it well..
that's why he was The King...
oh well.. it is a popularity contest after all
