The All-Important AI!

Fuck Taylor.. he's now a lock for final 2. i just realised from a website that he actually has the highest number of votes ever since he first performed in top 24. Confused Every single week...

av98m SG

Well, he might win, but he will not be successful. Even the people who voted for him will think twice about buying his CDs Laughing

I think the one with the best chance for long-term success is Chris. Heck, he already has Fuel asking him to front their band. He'll be a good frontman for rock/metal bands. This is his genre. If he tries to be a pop singer he'll flop.

Ace might do well too, actually.

Paris, I don't think so.

Katharine, maybe. It will depend on whether her record company chooses the right material for her.

Elliot? I don't think so.

elindra SG

Taylor is a joke
I think I will never want to watch American Idol again if he wins Shocked
I think if he is the final 2, I don't even want to know the results Shocked

Rhonda SG

Hmm... if they all produced albums, I'll most likely get Chris'. Very Happy Incidentally, since he's been voted out of AI, I have lost interest in watching it liao. Crying or Very sad It just isn't the same without Chris!

Hmm... if Taylor released a Jazz album, I MIGHT purchase it too.

The rest, no thanks! Laughing

Rhonda SG

Actually, crazy dancing moves aside, he sings well. He's got good range and he performs with gusto, albeit with really funny 'dance' moves! Laughing

I think Americans love it when a performer is very into the music. You can't deny that it's Taylor who gets the audience dancing to his music week after week. I guess it's just different qualities that they look out for. Wink

av98m SG

I've lost interest myself. Taylor and Elliot being in the final 3 is a fucking joke. Unless McPhee has a waldrobe malfunction and exposes her McMuffins on stage, I'm not watching! Twisted Evil

xinyi! SG

chris, kellie & ace are the only contestants that are entertaining & worth watching..

elindra SG

Well for me, I think Taylor does not have the range. If you notice the songs he choices are kinda all around the same range. Just that he always 'Kek' his face that he gives the impression he can have a varied range.

Well, as I do watch AI without watching but just by listening, I still think Taylor simply cannot make it but that is just my opinion Wink

av98m SG

I have the same expression when I'm having constipation. Laughing

elindra SG

Wah! I've been saying this for a long time
He sings like he is having constipation Laughing

jetta SG

And then I see your siggy with the farting turtle. Laughing

elindra SG

Err how is the performance today?

jetta SG

OMG, OMG, OMG, McPhee sang the most beautiful version of Somewhere Over the Rainbow, EVER!!!! Simon chose the song for her. Overall, she had a very good night and tonight, each contestant has three dedicated voting lines, very easy to get through. What I'm happiest about is, she didn't flash her McMuffins tonight. Laughing

Taylor had a good night too. I was waiting and waiting for him to sing a Joe Cocker song and he finally did!

Elliott, IMHO, was good but not good enough compared to the other two. So my money's on Taylor and McPhee in the finals.

elindra SG

How about the other 2?

the Bear SG

her voice is meant for songs like that.. not that kinda nonsense she was singing the past weeks..

jetta SG

Sorry, edited my post after you replied.

elindra SG

Sigh, I kinda like Elliott but he is not popular.
He's like the nice sweet quiet guy next door Laughing

av98m SG

Excellent! Mr. Green

.............But she has such magnificent McMuffins! They deserve to come out once a while! Laughing

av98m SG

Omigawd that was the very BEST rendition of Somewhere Over The Rainbow EVER!!!!!! Surprised Shocked Shocked Shocked
Katharine rocks! Simon rocks for choosing that song for her!! Very Happy

The other 2 idiots just sucked.
