From what I read in the AI forums alot of people said Kat was extremely pretty and gracious.

Ah well, Taylor is popular though I still hold my opinion that he can't sing, since half the time I don't watch AI but listen to it Laughing

choco B SG

Abit anti climax since we expected Taylor to win.

If you're watching tonight you can look forward to Clay (if not then take it as a joke *snort) and Prince.

av98m SG

He can't sing and his spastic punch-drunk dancing gives me the creeps.

It'll be interesting to see how Chris, McPhee and Taylor do in the long run. I predict Taylor will do the worst.

Random stuff from the net:

When Chris found out he was getting the boot, he was stunned. But Katherine looked even more shocked. Chris told INSIDE EDITION what was actually going on up on stage. "I thought it was a dagger in the heart and Ashton would say 'you're punk'd'" Chris said, referring to the MTV prank show. He continued, "I thought Ryan said you're going on home on private jet and coming back next week."

aaahhh chris... I'm still not over him hahahaha Embarassed Razz

Heh, Chris and McPhee must wonder how the fuck they lost to a mediocre kareoke singer with spastic dance moves and constipated face.

I heard Mandisa did really well at the finale too. Another shouldabeen

i love ace he is so hot!!! Embarassed

i think chris looks quite pissed cause he didn't get into the finals.. also, kellie's new hair is too short!! i prefer her old style better.

jetta SG

Man, did you guys catch Clay? He looks soooo different, almost unrecognizable! I'm not sure I like his new hair style and colour. Surprised That on-stage fan of his had such a spasm. Laughing

The finale was full of moments from the entire season. On the whole, quiet enjoyable except for Dionne Warwick's waste of time performance and Pickler's introduction to gourmet cuisine. Bring on season 6!

In the meantime, I can't wait to catch Simon's new show called Duets.

elindra SG

I didn't rec Clay till he started singing
He looks like a member of the Beetles with hsi new hair style Laughing

I think I enjoyed Kellie's introduction to gourmet cuisine than her singing She should just host a show on gourmet cuisine

Honeybunz SG

Ya, Clay's hair looked so Beatles.
His "impersonator" was so stunned to see him.

Honeybunz SG

I prefer Taylor, though I must agree that Katherine is very beautiful. She was great in her "Somewhere over the rainbows".

Taylor delivers his own style in all his presentation. That's very impt being an idol.

What's pitchy?

Chris Daughtry says no to Fuel gig
Former 'American Idol' contestant says I'm going to be doing my own thing'
The Associated Press

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Former "American Idol" contestant Chris Daughtry said Saturday he has turned down an offer to be lead singer for the band Fuel.

Daughtry, in Greensboro for a day of welcome-home appearances, said he expects to announce his next career move in few months, probably after he finishes with an "American Idol" summer concert tour.

"I'm going to be doing my own thing," Daughtry told The Charlotte Observer.

The band offered Daughtry a job hours after viewers voted him off the Fox television talent show last month. Bass player Jeff Abercrombie and guitarist Carl Bell made their pitch on the TV show "Extra."

He would have replaced Brett Scallions, who quit the multi-platinum rock band in February.
