Nope, they just set up tables and chairs in a very large meeting
room in the basement of the building, and open up a buffet
line.
The $5 is actually the minimum recommended "donation" suggested by
the church for the lunch; you are always free (and encouraged) to
contribute more. Sometimes, in a fit of unmitigated generosity,
I'll include an extra quarter and pay $5.25 for the lunch.
