sbst275 SG $17K COE rebate + $800 annual road tax rebate Even I used 52 X $20 = $1040 of coupon a year it's still cheaper No wonder they aren't willing to give full day for Saturday... They already gave too much incentive for OPC
Meia Gisborn SG I am not familiar with this. Was it part of the GE2006 vote buying "incentive" or something completely different?
Meia Gisborn SG And OPC stands for....? (I'm not familiar with the whole automobile purchasing process in Singapore as I've been out of the country since '89. )
sbst275 SG Off Peak Cars These cars have red coloured car plates and they can only be used between 7pm - 7am on Weekdays and 3pm - 7am (Monday) for weekends
Fatum SG the funniest thing is ... people actually think the Thais have a more vibrant democracy than Singapore ... they are just exchanging one set of grafters for another ... most of the politicians there are big time businessmen (read: business rivals) ... real politicians are few and far between .... everything went downhill after chuan leekpai ....
sbst275 SG 82 out of 84 seats Total votes: PAP 66.6%, WP 16.3%, SDA 13% and SDP 4.1% 66.6% is still higher than GE1997's %
