ShrodingersCat SG WA can't stand it.. need to vent There's this guy who does this like almost EVERY morning at the car park downstairs about 5.45 am He REVS his bike. And it's the type with the very sharp piakpiakpiak type of motor... and he revs it again.....very loudly... AND he revs it AGAIN........ and he continues doing this for almost 1 minute.. rev rev rev rev rev.....so it becomes louder AND LOUDER then stop.. and half asleep in ur bed, you kind of hope its the last one.. then it begins AGAIN!!! What can I do huh?! Is there ANYTHING I can do to stop this guy? At this moment I feel like becoming killer litter and jumping down to flatten him.
av98m SG Call your nearest police station. Seriously. I know one guy who called the police on his neighbour who'd play his hi-fi and home theater at defeaning volumes and the police managed to get him to stop. And later much to his suprise, the same neighbour's wife came over secretly to thank him for stopping the noise! muhahaha!!!
ShrodingersCat SG I thought its just after 11 pm then can.. thing is.. its not in his house.. and he's just revving his bike in the carpark.. but Iguess what's pissifying is that his bike has no silencer.. that's illegal isnt it???
av98m SG Yeah, but there's plenty of insecure attention seeking motorcyclists in Singapore. And most of these idiots with no silencer are the ones with the cheap bikes.
ShrodingersCat SG i dont know.. even though its annoying like hell I havent gone from my bed to look out of my window was tempted to scream at him from my window but think that would make me an annoyance as well BUT I SWEAR one of these days, I'll just go tell him to 'fix' tt lousy bike of his.
Rhonda SG Should I call to complain about my dad who karaoke's pretty loudly at times? I've tried to talk dad and mom to lower the volume and not be a general nuisance but we almost got into very heated quarrels over that.
Rhonda SG I will secretly nurture gratuitious thoughts of throwing an entire basket of rotten apples and tomatoes on to him (if I lived just above where he parks his motorbike). But I guess a more civilised thing would be to write a note and place it prominently on his bike, telling him what a nuisance and noise polluter he is and that if he doesn't stop, the authorities shall be roped in. Between you and I, the first thought is a merrier thought!
the Bear SG go have a look at which bike it is... sacrifice a night to gain revenge... sugar in the fuel tank ruins the engine and stops it cold, requiring a total draining and cleaning of the engine
rathcycle SG Theres a saying in chinese : Bu neng shui ziao, bu yap guai chuang wai. Meaning : If you cannot sleep, don't blame your bed for it. Its is the same as : xin jing zi ran liang. Meaning : Calming down will make you feel cooler instead of being worked up.
ShrodingersCat SG Ya.. thing is I already shui jiao oredi.... shui until shiok shiok then someboddy come and knockknock into my dreams ah....
[email protected] SG sorry to burst yr bubble. It would just clog the fuel filter. Sugar does not dissolve in petrol. So it would remain in particle form and clog the fuel filter, and that doesn't harm the engine one bit, other than him needing to replace his fuel filter. Hardly the sort of damage myth has it. U want to really screw his engine over, pour diesel in. Now THAT would require a total drain of the engine and fuel system.
ShrodingersCat SG Damn. Now do you mind posting a picture with an arrow showing me where the engine is and where to unscrew?
[email protected] SG just pour diesel into the fuel tank lor. since diesel is a liquid unlike sugar grains, it would pass the fuel filter without problems and enter the engine. Now that'd really screw it up. no need to actually unscrew the engine.
