Jetta ... trust me .... enrolling them in a Singapore school
would not improve their mandarin ... Singaporeans are in lingustic
limbo ... it's probably the last place to learn a language from
.... math, yes, mandarin ? ... you got to be kidding .... 
it may just degrade their English too if anything ! ...
my take ? Don't force the language on the kids ... let them learn
and explore on their own ... maybe join an asian social group or
something, there has got to be asian cultural centres around or
something eh ... if they are truly not interested, then it doesn't
really matter eh ... they can get in touch with their roots in
other ways ... if it becomes an economic neccessity in the future,
heck, that is always the ultimate motivator, and they'll pick it up
anyways ....
