Rhonda SG The Club 30 Cult Leader and a few peeps headed down for a feast at Kuishin-Bo on 16 March and here are a few photos! (Sorry, a few of the photos are too yellow but I'm too lazy to Photoshop them! ) Prior to the feast, av98m and Bear issued a challenge to each other - to see who can eat the most! Anyways, it didn't take Bear long before he headed to the Crabs Counter to pick up his favourite crabs. Look at the Roe inside!! And, the Crab-Eating Competition begins! To be continued...
Rhonda SG Pinky Bear decided to heap her pile of crabs somewhat artistically... A few of Cult Leader's favourite food in the buffet spread! In that bowl, is Tempura Soft Shell Crab and Tempura Prawn on top of Agedashi Tofu! Yuuuummy!!!! And then, there's the awesome, rich broth of ... Kaminabe!! (And nope, I wasn't swearing in Hokkien! ) To be continued...
Rhonda SG Here's a photo of the beautiful Sushi counter! Too bad I couldn't take a shot of the Crabs Counter because a waitress stopped me from taking the photo when I tried. Kaminabe! (I'm not swearing in Hokkien!! Just saying the name of one of my favourite Jap dishes!)
Rhonda SG Gyoza forever!!! I LOVE Gyoza aka Guo1 Tie1! But sadly, I seem to have forgotten to take a photo of them! Anyways, here's what you can get at the Teppanyaki Counter!
Rhonda SG Somebeardy's dessert plate... guess whose? And oh, that brownish thang on sticks... that's marshmallows dipped... nope, more like drowned, in chocolate sauce! There are, of course, healthier dessert platters!
Rhonda SG And after dinner, we took a walk down to the Esplanade to enjoy the concert at the open-air stage. We also enjoyed the lovely breeze by the Singapore River, a fitting end to a lovely dinner!
Rhonda SG Both Bear and av98m couldn't perform that night. They were probably too stressed out and tired from work and late nights! I wasn't even in the competition although if there was one for Slow Eater, I'll come up champion.
Rhonda SG Sigh... don't fret! When you're home for a visit, I'm sure we can arrange for a feast there for you!
