Perhaps the clear distinction is how many times round the block
(so to speak) you've been... I suppose when one has 'been there,
and done that' the thrill would cease to exist.
As we age - we are more exposed to the many different types of
people there are in the world, and we become more discerning. (I'm
refraining from using the word 'picky' here, cos that would be just
wrong). The questions posed by our naturally inquisitive nature
would probably have been answered as well.
Teens or 'young people' may approach a situation with the intention
of getting somewhere - but I believe with the older generation...
it will be done (if at all) with a form of mutual understanding in
place.
