1bigmess SG maybe its jus pple ard me , but seemed to see more people separated or divorced u noe wat, they should have a sign outside ROM: "THINK THRICE - $26 to register, THOUSANDS of dollars to divorce" maybe should have a club or something for divorcees for the "once-bitten-twice-shy" people to share our woes, lament on the painful process, bitch abt our ex-partners (if the r/s din end amiably). on a positive note, help and encourage one another to move on in life or love
elindra SG From what I understand that is the case. Alot of people don't really want to work together to iron out the problem and divorce seems to be the easier way out since the woman don't need to depend on the guy these days.
elindra SG You're lucky then I know quite a number of people who ended up divorced Only one didn't end up messy The rest were a disaster
Gazelle SG This song has already been sang too many time in this forum. http://www.sgforums.com/?action=search&search_str=divorce
InnoHippo SG yalor ....... there must be enough love and happiness before couples decide to get married ........ life is full of risks ....... no risk no gain
tiggersgd SG who wants to get married but thinking of divorce when saying 'i do'? its not kid's play. not happy? break up lor!!??
charlize SG Guy: Let's get married. Girl: Ok, it's time we got the HDB flat. Guy: Enough money in our CPF account? Girl: Should be enough to cover monthly repayment of the bank loan. Guy: Think we will have enough money for a kid in 2 years time? Girl: Well, hopefully you will get that promotion to senior engineer within the next 2 years. The pay increase should be able to cover part of the kid's expenses. Guy: I still have my monthly car loan to service. Girl: You take care of that, I will take care of the utility bills then. Guy: Yeah, think we should get married. Girl: Yep, we have enough money. At least based on current salaries. Notice that not once, the word "love" or its equivalent is mentioned. And you wonder why most marriages end in divorce.
a_splash SG these days...ppl are too stresss.....too busy....too many things to do.... endurance run out...patience run out.......
the Bear SG i figure, lots of couples spend 99% of their time planning the wedding and 1% of their time planning their marriage...
