Heh heh....
Luckily we live on the other side of the island from both my
parents and my in-laws. It was semi-planned (I brought this place
long before marriage) and semi-lucky (just happens that my wife's
family also lives far away). So we have privacy.
1. She doesn't call me at all. She only calls her daughter.
2. Nope. Cos we have too many secrets to hide. No one else allowed
in, not even my own parents. No one except our swinging friends, of
course...
3. Nope, except for the petty thing that mum-in-law doesn't really
listen. Its like a monologue when in conversation with her. I could
be telling her some story...and while I'm still speaking, she would
just cut in and start a new topic, as if I weren't speaking at all.
I can understand that some old folks are like that and I'm not
offended at all. Other than that, I get a long quite well with my
in-laws (not enough contact to breed hostility anyway).
