Rhonda SG My gosh... I just watched this movie this afternoon and it was extremely thrilling!! I found myself holding my breath, with every muscle in my body absolutely tensed up on several occasions in the movie! It was exciting, suspenseful, and extremely gruesome! Unlike most other sequels, which fail in the wake of their predecessor, this sequel continues to horrify the audience and if there are extremely unique and very disturbing ways of killing someone, you can find a few examples here! You will definitely not view certain appliances and equipment in the same way anymore! I'm quite immune to the gruesome stuff in horror movies but this one turned my hands cold and drained the colour from my cheeks! If you're looking for a good scare, do not miss this!
av98m SG This is a great movie. its unusual to see the bar being raised in sequels, usually it just gets worse. Final Destination 3 gets 2 thumbs up from me! I hope the DVD when released will have extra bonus deleted scenes!!! Say Rhonda, did you see the trailer for Date Movie? It looks like a must-watch!
Rhonda SG Oh yeah! I watched the trailer for Date Movie on that large screen outside Shaw Lido so the asses were blown up BIG-BIG!! Like you, I was really pleased that they delivered an excellent movie in Final Destination 3! I also liked how they ended it 'cleanly', ie. no survivors, otherwise, it'll be such an obvious giveaway that there'll be a Final Destination 4! BTW, will there be an FD4?
rainee SG have anyone watched FD 1? I thought that movie was kinda dumb and not scary at all…how scary is FD 3 compared to FD 1?
Rhonda SG Actually, it's quite disturbing that you can watch gory scenes and not feel a thing! Are you so immune to violence and all that liao that you're numb and desensitised liao? For me, all the FD's were gory and scary.
rainee SG haha..actually I have quite a big reaction towards gory and scary movies...the time I watched Juon I had to cover my eyes 3/4 of the entire movie and I cant even touch the mouse when the computer hanged halfway...had to ask my fren to move the mouse and restart the CD But FD...my frens rented it cos they tot it wud provoke some kinda weird reactions from me...but they were disappointed when I laughed thru the entire movie
elindra SG You want some weird reaction when watching a horror movie......bring me along Rhonda was laughing at me when we watched 'The Maid'
Rhonda SG Of course, mah! She was huddled in a corner of the sofa, holding this big cushion to hide her face the whole time! How not to laugh?
Rhonda SG rainee, you shouldn't watch such movies with your friends because it gives you a false sense of bravado. And lots of people laugh in horror movies cause they wanna diffuse their fears... but, where got kick like that?
rainee SG ok I admit it, I cannot watch Horror movies alone It will be worse if I watch one after drinking coffee...I watched The Eye with one of my girlfrens after drinking coffee...was screaming the whole room down within every 5 minutes
X-men SG The Eye is one of the better horror movies I have watched.... so it's okay to scream but every 5 minutes I don't remember it being so scary You should avoid Shutter at all cost then
rainee SG okla, a bit exaggerated...but I think every 15 minutes it is cos of the coffee... the best horror movies I have ever watched remains The Ring...
elindra SG Gee we should watch together then. I kept running away from my seat coz I was scared and Rhonda kept screaming to me to get back and was asking why am I keeping all the lights on I actually watched The Eye alone on my pc...I got soooo scared I logged on ICQ and kept bugging my friends
