sbst275 SG There are always vacancies around The thing is that the sv ind here is treated like a dumping ground for p-t jobs Stacking at night? Reminds me of 7-11
Rhonda SG Whoa... now, we FINALLY have a contestant who wows all! Supreme control of her voice, extremely expressive, right dress and all for her image! Soooo professional!! She doesn't even need to be in this contest - she could've recorded her own album straightaway! I would buy her record!
sbst275 SG Wahahaha Whatever it is, you must have the passion Why Singapore never becomes a nation with good service because of part time jobs cos many just want the pay like at NTUC... Or worst, ppl that never look into feedback ... Feedback to bus co over overloading and bus coming together yet they never reply then jokers at bus forums are protecting them That's why we never get good sv
ShrodingersCat SG I have also heard that the local Borders staff suck and they have a massive turnover rate. Anyway most of the time I go there, it's disappointing. BUT I think many Australian book shops are professional and friendly AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, they KNOW their products...
the Bear SG i've rarely if ever needed staff help in a book shop.. it's like i'm in my element still stuck in office
Rhonda SG It's going to be just a temporary job anyways. Just something to while the time away whilst waiting to depart.
Rhonda SG Hey, has anyone ever experienced recording something in a real sound studio? I have... and it's a really unique experience! The walls are heavily padded to eradicate echoes and the noise absorption is so good, it takes getting used to. Thing is, you can't hear yourself as well as you usually can and it really takes some getting used to! It's kinda like, you open your mouth to talk but your voice gets 'absorbed' and you're bound to feel that it's a weird experience!
the Bear SG yeah... it's cool.. not recording tho' but i'd rather a nice theater.. if they build it right.. the sound is awesome
