Well, we all know that it is illegal now, except for the
muslims, and that it was very common in the past. I believe to the
most of you, your grandfather or great-grandfather might have more
than one wife. I have heard from a friend's ex-bf that one of his
friends have a legal wife and a 'wife' and they are both living
happily together in Singapore.
Is anyone willing to accept that? For me it's a straight NO. There
is no way about it. I've always wondered how does a muslim woman
feel when her husband wants to marry another woman into the family.
I would think the feeling is terrible. I will be wondering if I am
inadequate in anyway that he falls in love with someone else enough
to want to marry her. I think the emotional wounds would be
tremendous and I think my self-confidence would drop like a rock
Anyway, what do you guys think?
