I have been told by many a females that it looks better for the guy to be taller than the girl. How instance Tom cruise always gets a mention lol

So how wide spread is this attitude?
Are there any hopes for a shorter guy and taller gal?

I think many girls CONSCIOUSLY look for taller guys heehee

I'm real short so very difficult to find a guy shorter than me
but I know many girls who feel pai seh if the guy is a LOT shorter than them
a little is okay la.

Err I think they do. a lot of shorter/small sized guys I know feel a bit insecure ba... they usually have similarly very small sized gfs too.

I'm 160 and so far I haven't had any gf shorter than me, so it probably means there are girls who go for character rather than looks bah, coz I look average. My tallest gf is 172, so when we go out, alot of people will look (sometimes stare which is rude), lol, maybe it's just me being paranoid.

Not sure which ad, but once when I was in Sec school, I went out with a guy friend who is 1.8 to watch a movie. After the movie, when the crowd was moving towards the exit, he suddenly stopped and started looking around. I thought he saw a friend so waited lah. Then felt abit weird, so I called him, ask him what he was looking at.

Confused Then he looked surprised to be see me standing in front of him and said "EH!? I was looking for u"

actually I was damn pai say.

later on in life, I had a crush on another 1.8m tall lanky guy. He too always joked abt me being short and round.. always say I am a ball rolling past. Sad Difficult not to feel self conscious when walking next to him. Think if you happen to be short and round (like me) it is best not to walk next to your polar opposite (tall and thin)

My hubby is normal height now Smile 1.7m thereabouts.
