elindra SG Bear you know the sauteed mushrooms receipe you posted some time back? That was how I cooked my sauteed mushrooms except that for the alcohal I either used white wine or a bit of cognac. I think I liked your suggestion with beer though

the Bear SG a few drops huh? hmm.. but i usually use the beer or wine as the liquid for the sauce... pour enough in it to reduce to a nice tasting sauce... the stuff that vapourises away is the steam and liquid that cooks the mushrooms
