Deportivo SG you decide how many tables you have the buget for. if you buget for 10 tables but have a potential of 2500 guests, then it's you duty to just invite 100 guests. dun go around planning for a 250 tables banquet just because of the sake of inviting all of them. ok, i am exaggerating the numbers.
choco B SG I think when you have a wedding you just finally come to terms with money. You figure out your budget , and how much Cost is acceptable /bearable. After that, you just work according to plan. There's little time nor energy for angst about money.
choco B SG Interesting, 3 different approaches to BufPuf's question! "how many tables do you exactly know to plan for?... "
Nelstar SG There's a fine point between reading and understand. The red packet should never be about how much the bill of the table is. And that's the wrong mentality from some crazy folks and our edlow is telling me, it's the right thing to do. The custom was practised wrongly, and here he embodies the I pay for the bill notion. And that fact that you must pay exactly or more for the bill was wrong already. Our dear fellow kept harping if you can't pay equivalent you shouldn't turn up and such things. Come on, if you're going to have a wedding dinner and if you can afford it without the defraying from the guests, would you want a friend to be put off by the price tag? And if you can't have a wedding dinner without the defraying by the guests, WHY are you making it so difficult for everyone?

Deportivo SG my wife's boobs were safety kept in the gown that night. ofcourse i ravaged it a few hours later.
choco B SG Well, it's a good thing we can host and be a guest according to our own principles and methods
charlize SG Ok, you don't have to tell the whole world you didn't get some on your wedding night. Really.
charlize SG Ooops. The whole world also doesn't need to know you had too much that night. But some people in Bar maybe interested. Just maybe.
