Nelstar SG Stupid people like Gazelle do not know how to search for the truth. And again, he's taxing us with his stupidity. He only know how to assume things like Singaporeans are always in for freebies etc. He had seen so little of this world and he came to a conclusion because he did not search for the truth. That's how stupid Gazelle really is. With comments from Gazelle like that all day, I'm sad for his family. It'll be real taxing for them to handle his stupid remarks and stupid answers.
shinta SG ... but u're havin lunch first? how's my patch? eh shift conv to crap box... i'll up the thread for u.. *leaves thread*

hahahah...how nice IF i am as stupid as you...
viciouskitty74 SG Everytime they dim the lights and the aunties and school boys walk in with a candle lit plate on their shoulders with that cornier and cornier music. i cringed in my seat and wish that no one seen me to know these folks who does this cornier and cornier wedding dinners.
Lingos SG My brother did his own 'wedding mix'. I felt sick too with that. HAHAHA He put on Be our guest from that frickin' disney movie. Yeessshhhhhhhhhhhhh Put some NIN on man.
Nelstar SG Definitely nice if you were on par with me. Cos, being as stupid as you isn't really nice to begin with. It's a nightmare.
Gazelle SG hey dude. maybe it is better for you to go through your wedding ceremony and traditional dinner (if you can afford it ) before coming here to give your stupid comments.
Nelstar SG Maybe it is better for you to go get a brain before coming here to give your stupid comments. You sincerely need one.
Gazelle SG no brain? Dont be stupid lah..you getting married already you know still so childish. btw since you are not even married, how are you suppose to know about what to do and what to expect during chinese wedding dinner? you throwing smoke isit? Oh yes, i forgotten everything you say is IF. So which means technically speaking you will always be RIGHT... or should I say as good as not saying anything..
BlUe |eLd SG There r nice performance being done b4. For once, the food presentation song is MAcarena... and the guys dance in with the rythm... WITH THE PLATTER of FOOD on hand!! Hws tat?? If tat happens in ur wedding, it bounds to be a special and unforgettable moment for ur guests!! Trust me.. the effect is gd... and the applause is "THUNDERous"!!!
BlUe |eLd SG Oooh!!! Up to u to tink! Its with the event planner, nt the hotel!! Quite a few hotel tried it, some with other songs... Trend mah!!
Gazelle SG haha..my food presentation song was the edited version of Whole lotta Love by Led Zepplin..they didnt dance but was marching to the drum beat and guitar riff of bonham and paige..
shinta SG One dun have to be married to noe what to do and what to expect during chinese wedding dinner.
Rhonda SG Yup! We can learn via observation, speaking to people who've gone through it, helping out married couples who are going through it, etc. What can I say? Some folks are just out on a personal vendetta to attack others. I say, ignore-therapy!
Nelstar SG Gazelle the stupid says. Who cares? Only stupid people like Gazelle needs to be taught. People like me? I helped my brother and friends with their wedding preparations and I basically know what to do and expect. And stupid people like Gazelle cannot use their brains at all to know what to expect. We don't even have to elaborate IF is a possibility and stupid people like Gazelle can never come to terms with that.
Rhonda SG Reviving this old thread cuz I've got something new to share... Recently, I've seen my mom fussing over the arrangements for my brother's Chinese Wedding Dinner next month. She's beaming with pride and seems so happy and enthusiastic about it. She says that it's a big milestone for my younger bro and it's her son getting married and 'becoming an adult'. It's heartwarming to see her being so happy and proud. It's made me rethink the views I once held on Chinese Wedding Dinners. It's not just a day for the couple only - it's a day for the parents on both sides too. It's a time for them to stand tall and feel proud that they've done their parts as parents and now, their kids are setting up their own families. I guess they probably perceive it as a kind of 'life achievement', a priceless moment in their lives. I still don't think I'd like to hold one when my turn comes and since my younger bro has beat me to it, I don't think the expectations for me will be that high! I ought to thank him for taking the spotlight off me! However, if it makes the parents on both sides happy, and if $$$ is not an issue, I guess I can just learn to make the best of the situation. Afterall, I can always focus on the food and hey, it's an opportunity to doll up and look pretty!
