the Bear SG you know what's sad? diamonds are not that rare, not that valuable relative to the rest of the gems.. and the atrocities that went on boggles the mind... children soldiers who are drugged out on heavy drugs, dealing out mutilation and murder to anyone and everyone... with commanders who have names like Queen Chop Hands who went into peaceful villages and carried out their things like Operation No Living Thing... and they were tolerated and allowed to menace and cause murder and mayhem until a story in the press threatened to mar the image of the diamond as a "token of love" even "blood diamond" got watered down to "conflict diamonds" and there was evidence that Osama used this very path to finance his operations... now, everything is "legit" but hey.. they're still fighting, the neighbouring countries where the "legit diamonds" come from are producing about 1000% more than their own diamond fields can... so.. find out about diamonds.. don't give your loved one something that is in reality, a sham..
subarugal SG Used to behave like any other gals, loving all those lovey-dovey stuffs.. Not sure since when, no longer into flowers and sweet nothings.. Somehow certain parts in me, turn immune against those stuffs. Still the old saying, Valentine will be yours daily when we meet the rite partner. You can have whole world of sweet-lovey dovey talk/ gifts, somehow if faith and love is absent from .... Everything is nothing.

Rhonda SG I will be staying home, packing up. Haven't celebrated Valentine's Day for a loooooong loooooong time but just like to kaypoh and be excited about stuff, just for the fun of it, just to chou4 chou4 re4 nao4!

Rhonda SG That's true. Things are sold at inflated prices too! And there's nothing romantic about queuing up and getting all hot and bothered, waiting for stuff. And, I hate crowds! But, oh well, just wanna discuss this for the sake of discussing it! And, like what I said, I think Valentine's Day should be the day the couple first met, to commemorate their Anniversary.
