Rhonda SG They should compile a booklet of the places featured in Coffee Talks and Hawker Woks Parts I & II! Would be awesome to know where the good food places are!
Rhonda SG OK, much better! Hmm... well, they ought to do that! Otherwise, who'll buy mandarin oranges by the carton from them?
sbst275 SG I dun see to it Because I import the orange, that's the condition... I can't possibly 'eat' the losses from these End up I heard ppl become more stingy... See this carton got 1 or 2 rotten, I dun want
Rhonda SG I liked to buy fruits from that old hawker ctr and market in Holland V. There's a fruit stall there where the owners are English-speaking and very friendly! They import lots of exotic fruits and they make good recommendations. Not sure if they'll have a store at the new Holland V market. When you buy mandarin oranges from the market stalls, they can recommend the sweetest varieties to you. In Cold Storage, you just stare at the different types on display and don't know which to choose. And there's no one there to help promote the oranges too.
sbst275 SG K... You can't expect the importer to take the losses from these rotten oranges... Because say I import 1000 carton, there are avg of 2 rotten ones per ctn, it can cost me $800 in losses! My profit margin or even labour cost cannot be covered! That's why I know NTUC only emply p-t kaki for these jobs
Rhonda SG Orh... Hey, but at the same time, you can't expect customers who purchase from you to pay for rotten goods, right? That's not exactly good business practice. If that's the case, people would rather buy cartons of Mandarin Oranges from NTUC.
sbst275 SG But do you know that NTUC is actually not that willing to do so? It is only because it has enough manpower They recover the losses by marking up other goods margin higher Their beer is no cheap!
Rhonda SG Ah well, I'm not going to buy an entire carton of mandarin oranges, so their practices won't bother me much!
laurence82 SG my leg is overworked getting leg-tired since the outing craze starting from Christmas eve
Kan_i SG Hahaha i love jet li movies and for that matter most action type flicks. But to assert there would/could have been chemistry is to assert that Jet Li can act.
laurence82 SG i never had a massage, i mean a real full massage or acupuncture or anything hmm must go get one...
Kan_i SG My question bear is why do you wan to buy a MAC? For that price wow you can get a more powerful Windows Equivalant.
Kan_i SG Mwahahhahahah gotacha will give it a go when i take boy to childcare, when i return i will say "darling i dont know... today your boy has gone a bit hairy and meows, but hey hes as cute as ever".
If that's the case, people would rather buy cartons of
Mandarin Oranges from NTUC.
