elindra SG If anyone is wondering why I started this topic it's because someone passed me a Japanese manga (one of those girly ones which I'll never buy to read). The reason I read it because I was told it's hilarious (It is hilarious) Anyway it got me curious about the industry and culture in real life. Kan_i SG wow every teenage boys dream? From reading the article "leggy" 20 something chick wanting to pay for attention and possibly sex sounds fantastic. I wonder though what the darker sides of such prostitution are. I dont know enough of the Japanese culture to have any absolute views. But as human nature is human nature, i doubt that their is much control even for a man to go into this line of work. I sometimes get the impression that Japanese culture has a very romantic notion of prostitution. Eg Geisha Girls being portrayed as more than prostitutes.

the Bear SG isn't it the way it has been recently? a man treats a woman badly, he's branded all kinds of terrible things and is spit on.. a woman treats a man badly and everyone goes "you go! girl!" so hey.. it's not much different, isn't it?
Kan_i SG do not get cynical yet. It will make finding Mrs Bear hard I have heard this from a few view points now... seems like SG women are tipping the balance in their favour now?
the Bear SG i'm not cynical.. only kinda dismayed.. sort of like the victim of child abuse become a child abuser... chauvanism no matter which direction is still chauvanism..
