Meia Gisborn SG This images begs the question: what is the best way to remove rabbit poo from between the keys of a PC keyboard?
Rhonda SG Hmm... come to think of it, I think that chap is just WAITING for an excuse to purchase a new laptop!

Meia Gisborn SG Could do with a little less snow here (there's 10 inches on the ground right now, and the white crap is still falling), but otherwise I'm relatively okay. Decided to stay home and telecommute today due to the snow. How are your preparations for departure coming along???
the Bear SG i don't like laptops... but i'll use this one as long as it's alive when this one gives up the ghost, it'll be an iMac

I'm sure quite a few key personnel are on leave. Anyways, a colleague told me that once you get a job after a phone conference interview, things start happening real quick and you might end up leaving in 1.5 month's time! Y'know, I've never experienced snow. My Johns Hopkins clinical attachment was originally slated to start in Winter, and I was looking forward to making snow angels! But oh well, cause of the 911 incident, it was postponed. Yippeee!! Does telecommuting from home means that you'll be here more frequently today?
Meia Gisborn SG Are you scheduled for a phone interview sometime following the holidays? (I've always found it unusual that a hiring decision can be made purely on the basis of a phone interview, but that seems to happen quite often in corporate America.) How are your brother's wedding plans coming along? Do you still plan to leave after that? Yeah, I'm telecommuting today because of the snow, but my time on this forum might still be restricted as I'm busy with having to field questions from my @#$%&! tech supervisor over the phone about a @#$%&! project that is in the process of imploding. Oh, the fun....
Rhonda SG Ah well, we're happy to have you around, even for a little while! Well, by the time they make their hiring decision, they would have : - known that I hold a nursing licence for Melbourne; - have a mastery of the English language decent enough for me to work there; - know my nursing school results; - seen my photo; - know my state of health (Health Check-up will be done); - spoken to me; - know my work experience; - spoken to my professional referees; and - have my agent vouch for me. So, they would have covered all grounds, short of seeing me in person! Ah well, bro's wedding... not sure. If the job comes before the wedding, then, we shall have to see. Besides, not really keen to be there cause relatives will definitely ask me that question, ''So, when's your turn?''
The man who was death SG Phone interview doesn't allow u to work ur charm on the interviewer but it also dun let see your flaws good...good..
the Bear SG even with face-to-face interviews, it didn't stop the idiots up high from hiring a few psychopaths at my place of work
Meia Gisborn SG Yes, but, with FTF interviews, you'll at least be able to filter out the obvious mismatches and psychopaths... you know, the ones who come to the interview dressed in t-shirts that say "Question Authority" or "I Kill For Fun."
the Bear SG well, there were howling lunatics which we could spot a mile away, hired by the bigwigs somehow, a lunatic who talks to himself would be obvious right? and one who argues with himself even more so... we inform HR but they don't do anything.. until he runs around nude after setting fire to the tables in the locker rooms, getting himself arrested by the cops, do they terminate his employment
