Rhonda SG Was on the phone with a concerned friend this morning and we were discussing the 37 litres of fluids in my body thang. She said, 'Did you realise that if you were to lose half of that or bring it down to normal levels, you'd have lost almost 18kgs?!' Siiiigh... don't I wish?! It's not just bad water retention and appearing 'fat' and ugly... it's also working the kidneys real hard. It would be a sweet relief to no longer be a walking human sponge!

Rhonda SG Recently, was part of a discussion group thingy with upper nursing management. I raised up issues that concerned me, and man, the replies they gave just showed you that they couldn't, for the life of them, think linear! They gave 'answers' that didn't actually address my concerns, and they used distraction tactics to draw attention away from my actual questions, which they had no reasonable solutions to (because they weren't prepared to address the REAL issues). I even told a really intelligent colleague about it, and we laughed out heads off! Sadly, the rest just couldn't SEE what was happening.
