Hi, I have a question about CPF contribution from employer.
I am currently considering an offer as an employee on contract. The
contract says that the employer will not pay the EMPLOYER portion
of CPF (which is 13%). Instead, I as the employee will have to pay
both the employer & employee contribution of CPF from my
salary. So, in total I pay 13 + 20 = 33% of my salary to CPF.
According to my company's HR, they say they can do that because the
contract says so. If I sign, I agree.
So, my question is, is this lawful by singapore's law? Asking the
employee to agree to pay all the CPF contributions? Thanks.
