Yeah... before it was a helluva pittance, now, it's a pittance.
Seriously though, the minute we move over to places like Australia,
we immediately fetch at least S$1K more, after tax! And if we make
that trip over to the US, the difference is even more
staggering!
For a profession that faces serious health hazards and threats and
that takes on the heavy responsibity of preserving and saving
lives, what they pay here is tragic.
