Oh, I forgot to mention the other wildlife family I met twice in Bali hor....centipedes in the bathtub...including at this 3.5 to 4-star kuta hotel. Razz

They (couple) are somewhat like what you've described (except the gung ho part), but I think the main factor was they wanted to get the most value for money on this trip. I'm not sure why... or perhaps it's a hidden part of them which I did not know of (they live in a landed house and drive big cars....me and the SO are hdb folks only). Smile

So you see my expectation of sun, sea and sand at a villa could not materialise at all....thus the hankering for another trip. Wahahaha... Mr. Green

The local working conditions may be pretty lousy, but it doesn't change the fact that at the end of the day, Nursing IS an extremely meaningful job. It is a vocation where you DO help save lives. Very Happy
