hahahaha..........I see we have a convert here. Mr. Green

Good evening SBS and good morning MG and Fatum.

Boy, it's good to get out of the house early. Traffic is nice and relax. Took me under half an hour this morning and not that I was speeding. That's why I like to leave the house early.

But nights are getting long. It was 7:30am and still "ti or or". Those wearing dark coloured jacket blends in the dark. Can be driving hazards.

Fatum SG

Shocked Shocked Shocked .... you work for a japanese sweatshop ah ? .... Surprised

what time do you usually knock off then ? ....

Meia Gisborn SG

sbst275,

Thank you for the information! It's good to know that the next time I'm in Singapore, I'll be able to take a direct bus from my parents' house along UTR to Clementi.

sbst275 SG

Actually, Upp Thomson bef Sv 52 came has Sv 165 already

Meia Gisborn SG

No lah! I work a 6:55 a.m. to 3:25 p.m. schedule five days a week. This allows me to get home in time to still be able to take advantage of the longer daylight hours we have in summer and engage in outdoor activities.

At the peak of summer, the sun doesn't set until just a little after 9:30 p.m.; I would imagine that, being farther north, you get even longer summer days, right? Very Happy

Lance_han SG

Good evenin all^^V

been sometime i drop past here also.. Laughing

Meia Gisborn SG

74 does that too, if I recall correctly. It was the service I used to take, back in the eighties, to get from UTR to the Poly. Very Happy

sbst275 SG

Ngee Ann Poly?

That was bef 1993

In 1993, with the MRT rationalisation, Sv 74 was diverted to call Buona Vista instead via Dover Ave and Dover Rd to replace Sv 202

Sv 151 was introduced to replace Sv 201 (Kent Ridge - NP)

Sv 154 replaced Sv 74's Bt Timah - Clementi MRT leg

Fatum SG

that also means the stupid birds would start singing at 4am !!! ...... Mad

Good evening Lance_han.

Yeah, it's been a long while. Now, I am troubling my brain and memory to put your nick to related posts. So, you have to come in often. Mr. Green

Make yourself at home. I am just waiting for the SMS music station to commence. Wink

Fatum SG

i have three hours before my paper's due ..... and my mind's a blank ....

i think i'm screwed this time .... woohoo ! .... Cool

littlestream SG

Relax and take deep breaths. Got Brand's essence of chicken or not?

Anyways, don't think that. You'll be okay. It's too late to do anything so just relax and your mind will not be blank. Whatever you have will slowly come back. If you kan cheong, then, mind really blank. Cannot penetrate mah.

Good luck, Fatum. Wink

Fatum SG

i was hacking away at a programming assignment till 2am .before i started on this piece of turd .....

context switching for brain is painful ..... die liao .... Confused

littlestream SG

No die liao lah. Don't think like that. Never under-estimate the power of the mind. Aiyoh, must borrow that silly line from the drama, Yummy Yummy "if you think you can, you can." Yikes, can't imagine myself saying that and remembering the artists who said it. Eeewww. Embarassed

Okay, Fatum.......just chill and it will all come back. Believe and it will happen. Wink

Still, all the very best!

stellazio SG

SBST are you like the information officer in SBS?the customer care where people dial a number and you reply where the bus leads them so and so...i'm just simply stunned by your knowledge of buses..And if it was the 80's i think MS would most probaly be in SP.. Laughing

sbst275 SG

Nope Laughing

Nope, in 1980's, Sv 74 dun serve SP, only NP

It was Ang Mo Kio - Clementi

Meia Gisborn SG

Good morning, LS!

What's your regular work schedule? Does it change during the year to accommodate the seasons?

Meia Gisborn SG

Is it a non-coding paper? If so, discover Google for your research needs! Smile

Or you could fall back on the collective wisdom of all of us here... wait a minute, you actually want a passing grade for the paper, right? Mr. Green

Meia Gisborn SG

Indeed. Sometimes I get the impression that sbst275 is actually a bored SBS Customer Service Rep. passing time by participating in this board! His knowledge of the SBS buses and routes is... unreal. Surprised

(And, no, I did attend NAP in the eighties! Mr. Green )
