I also got no place to stand (hee hee). But if you come up to North America, you can be sure the "North Americans" will be busy typing. Wink And I found out MG is a real handy man, man!

Anyways, after a hot summer, I'm finding this Fall a bit too chilly. Sad Scared liao. Even that Ben1406 is talking about it in SO. It will be his FIRST winter. And we are still waiting for pictures of his culinary erm.....classes? Dishes?

Fatum indicated he may make a trip to my part of the world, specifically, Ben1406's city in winter. It will be neat if we do meet up. But Ontario is very big, know? Not like Changi go Jurong. I'm out East, so can be far (by my standard lah). Embarassed

It would be the tail end of their summer, and the weather would probably still be very summer-like, with just the barest hints of autumn. Very Happy

We experience the reciprocal of that in the northern hemisphere. Fall (autumn) officially begins in late-September, but the weather can still be swelteringly hot in that month.

We have this contraption for warming up patients who are hypothermic. It's a machine that blows hot air through this special disposable blanket with plastic 'pipes' on it so that the warm air inflates the 'pipes' and via convection and conduction, keeps the patient warm and toasty. Very Happy

We typically put a thin sheet on top of the patient, followed by the Bair hugger blanket, then a top layer that's the blanket that's normally used.

The disposable blanket has bears printed all over it and it's in a nice pastel blue. Cuuute!

you can also use a cheaper contraption called a Hot Tub Laughing

I'm back. Nothing fancy. Only two choices. Hot dogs or sausages. Picked sausage and now confirmed that I DO NOT LIKE sausages. Sad Should have asked for hot dog.

when i was there a decade ago, i was almost immune to cold...

as in.. i was one of the maniacs walking around winter, in shorts and tee shirts when it was about 5 or 6 degree outside...

and i was playing tennis for up to 5 or 6 hours in summer when it was 40 in the shade Razz

I think it's me. I'm not much of a meat eater. I am foregoing the sausage and eating the hugh cake. I so kay kiang, asked for corner piece. Yikes so creamy. Too rich liao. Now I need coffee to balance off the sugar.

Oh, you know bowling, right? I saw your thread, it is cheaper to bowl in Sg. Over here, we get charged by the hour. It's like about C$25 per hour. And our standard, we can manage about 2-1/4 games only. That's expensive, right?
