Rhonda SG Don't drink it!! You'll be shocked to find out the amount and diversity of bacteria that thrives in our oral cavities. Consider these : - Before patients undergo heart surgeries, they HAVE to go for a dental appt because bacteria in our mouth can cause nasty infections that might be fatal when a patient is weak after an operation; - I've personally nursed a case where a patient ended up in the ICU with a nasty brain infection, and they traced the source to... a tooth decay!!! If you want to, you can do this experiment, and do so in the spirit of that rottenmeat site! Buy a piece of yam cake... take a bite out of it. Set it aside and leave it for a few days. When you next check on it, you would have noticed that the part of the yam cake with your teeth marks would have more manifestations of bacterial growth than on the rest of the cake. So, gee, I know my reply is late but DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT drink that water! It's now an ocean brimming with microbes!
Fatum SG ..... okie ..... i will take brushing my teeth much more seriously from now on ......... and that got me thinking about some usually noctournal activities too ......
Wanda SG Okie, okie, I didn't drink it after that mouthful which I took before posing the question (no harm done...heng!). Would it help if I had pour the water out into a cup before drinking? Would the bottle of water be able to keep clean for 2 wks? Someone else mentioned he took 1 mth to finish his water while in the army. Together with other beverages, it often takes me a wk to finish a bottle of that distilled water...so far, no major problem. Thanks for sharing the knowledge!
Wanda SG Still, $780 is too much to pay for for a helmet. How much does the low-end ones cost? May need one when I decide to go take up motorbike lessons. I think Vespas are so cute.
s|nNeD SG not take 1 month to finish lah... i drank water that was kept in my bunk for almost 1 month. was damn thirsty late at night and i'm damn lazy to go out to get fresh water. so ...

the Bear SG Ennio's hilarious! saw him when he did his round in the Melbourne Comedy Fest a decade ago in other news, i had to rescue 2 kittens earlier today... they were so small and followed whoever who walked pass them... when i walked across the bus concourse, they tried to follow me so i had to put them in a box in the office for the shift i think someone wants to take them home later..
Wanda SG That sounds like 3 to 5 mths and very cute! I almost wanted to ask you to measure their length with a ruler. So, what did you do with them? Probably can eat soft solids, e.g. Whiska foil pack kitten (wet) food. Or can use dry food, just soak them first in water to become semi solid, and provide water.
the Bear SG either the next shift went to look for the mother (unlikely) or a couple of cat-lovers took them home.. one actually had soft cat food in her locker.. i think they gave the kittens some...
Wanda SG Okie, with ppl who keeps cat food in their lockers around, the kitties are in very good hands.
Wanda SG Yoohoo... yoohoo....hoo... *echo* I'm so hungry! Going for lunch soon. Have a good lunch, all. Remember to eat a balanced diet with lots of vege and fruits!
Wanda SG I had a good lunch - black pepper chicken chop at Han's at N Library. Did you have a good lunch?
