Rhonda SG I suspect that I have a mild one too. Last night, after logging off at about 3:30am, I went to bed... and couldn't fall asleep at all!! So, I would lie in bed, get up and play my GBA, decide to try to sleep again, wake up again and play my GBA... Finally, I gave up trying to sleep at about 5am, dressed up and went for an early breakfast round about 6am! Fell asleep after breakfast and woke up at 2pm. My sleep pattern's totally screwed up! Bear, I think it's a shift worker thing.
the Bear SG what to put in first aid kit? hartmann's solution.. 1 litre IV set, a couple of 16G catheter needles triangle bandages sterile bandages (super absorbant) burn dressings paramedical scissors
stellazio SG MUAHAHA,i slept close to 6 after going to bed at 5,and forced myself to wake up at 1.30..Though my normal sleep pattern is from 4-2..
the Bear SG i like my sleep disorder maybe i go drink too much caffeine later and see how horribly a caffeine-poisoned ursine is able to bowl
the Bear SG no need.. if it's for a car crash, these are essential... the 1st 2 items are to prevent hypovolumic shock, the rest is to immobilise and to stop profuse bleeding.. the rest can be done in the hospital
Rhonda SG I'm soooo envious thinking about the huge feast you're going to have later, after your bowling session! Newton again, right?
Rhonda SG You're going to put WHAT in your First Aid Kit??!!! Wah... you're thinking of setting up a drip for people, ah?! Whilst you're at it, why don't you put an ambu bag, a few vials of inotropes like Adrenaline and Amiodarone, and a portable defib kit as well?
Rhonda SG And then, how about a Toilet & Suture dressing set... so you can start stitching up the victims on-the-spot?
the Bear SG defibs and the rest, no need coz the ambulance will be there soon.. can attempt resuscitation without the defib with CPR hypovolumic shock kills and there isn't anything you can do about it unless you introduce a lot of fluids into the body the rest, like i said, is to stop bleeding with pressure dressings and if there are burns, it's best to wrap up the fella with the burn dressing.. the scissors are excellent for cutting away stuff... they'll cut through things as tough as a 10-cent coin p.s. also always have a mobile phone with you to call for EMTs
