the Bear SG yeah.. dunno what happened to care bear anyway, i'm off.. the alleys call.. maybe one of these days, i'll put up a day or night and we all go bowling
choco B SG Go for a slow, basic class? There's no time like the present leh... You'll only get creakier and achier as time goes by
Rhonda SG OK, found it!! http://www.amazon.com/gp/reader/0060081988/ref=sib_dp_pt/103-4895781-1663042#reader-link Sorry, the proper title's actually "The Fall of Advertising and The Rise of PR".
Rhonda SG I think if anything, Pilates would do Bear good. Dance classes might actually aggravate some of the ailments he has.
Rhonda SG Drats... Amazon.com has made the photos of their books 'transparent.gifs' so that we can no longer share the photos of the book covers in here. Oh well, we can still share the url's!
paperflower SG omg.... bear, yours sound complicated. hope you really able to pick up a dance slowly soon (if you ever really keen in one)
Rhonda SG I tried to tell him that it would work better if he would stop keeping late nights and make other lifestyle changes too like lay off the caffeine bit by bit, etc. But, try telling a Bear to budge!
Rhonda SG Yes, Pilates! I had very bad backaches because of the nature of my job... and it got better only after I started Pilates and Yoga classes. Pilates is actually good for people with back problems because Pilates was actually designed by physiotherapists. They focus a lot on the back, and the 'core' (torso). Of course, there are some moves that he shouldn't attempt but other than that, Pilates would do Bear a lot of good. Now, ladies, we start the nagging!!
Rhonda SG stellazio, we wouldn't wanna know!! As for torn ligaments, I just recovered from a Minor Ligament Tear in my Right Knee. Even then, when it's going to rain, I can 'predict' it because I'll get a kneeache. Like, last night, I told my friend, "It shall rain sometime soon!"... and it did! Take care of your joints and back, folks! Once you sustain an injury, you might suffer from the after-effects for life!
paperflower SG ask you all.... do any of you find it hard or easy to find someone else who can replace a person you like very very much? why is it some people can put down easily and some just cannot?
Rhonda SG Y'know, I did notice that there seem to be some who seem to let go and move on much much faster and much much easier than the rest. Could it be that they just weren't that close to the person afterall? Or, they didn't love deeply nor intensely? Or, the cracks have been showing for some time now and the breakup was inevitable so they had xing1 li2 zhun3 bei4 and were prepared? OR, could it be that they are putting on a front, and crying every night before they go to sleep? The silently agonising sort? As for me, once I form deep ties with someone, I find it very very hard to let go. paperflower, you going through something akin to it now?
stellazio SG Taiji might be good, those ancient chinese martial arts..But maybe the indian dance might suit him..
