Deathy, if it's any encouragement to you, in my teens, I was
pretty shy and stuck to my comfy little group of friends.
Everytime I tried to reach out, it would end up in disappointment
or embarrassment or whatever negatives. So, I stopped trying for a
while.
It doesn't work that way. We just aren't meant to exist
alone.
Sooner or later, you'll realise that similar situations will keep
on happening to you. That's because there's a lesson you're meant
to learn that you haven't yet learnt, and until you grab the bull
by the horns and learn it, similar instances will keep on recurring
until you do.
It wasn't easy for me to adjust to work. Till today, there are
things about people and all that, that I'm still learning. I still
commit stupid, embarrassing mistakes because things like that don't
come naturally to me, but well, I just keep on trying.
Deathy, don't isolate yourself from the world - you rob yourself of
beautiful encounters that way too!
