A few years back when I was considering purchasing a sewing
machine, I heard from mom and a few collegues who sewed a lot, that
the brand to go for was Elna.
As for neatening the seams, although the usual sewing machines can
do that, there's a dedicated machine just for that function that
gives you much better results that no sewing machine can match.
