ronnie_2600 SG depends on what are you trying to make? if you are skillful with a knife, then it's the faster way ... else use a peeler. if you boil.... u cant really fry them afterwards.

littlestream SG No, you must make puncture holes in the potatoes. Time your duration as well. End result will be like steamed potatoes and skin comes off easily too. No mess. I do the same with corns now too, i.e. using the microwave.
