Local ring girls have been replaced by four Aussie lasses to
flash cards and rouse the crowd at Resorts World Sentosa's monthly
Martial Combat event.
Organisers feel that local girls can't dance and perform as well
as these overseas beauties.
STOMPer Ray feels that it is unfair to cast local
girls aside as it gives people the impression that they are not
good enough.
"I was quite disappointed to learn that Singaporean ring girls have
been replaced.
"Are the organisers sure they couldn't find willing local girls who
could dance and perform?
"I am sure there are tons of gorgeous local girls who can flash
cards, rouse the crowd and dance in front of a fighting ring.
"If we keep taking in overseas girls for such events, then what's
the difference between us and places like Las Vegas?
"There's no local flair, even though the event is taking place
in Singapore.
"Comparing local girls with overseas girls is unfair. Let's not
discriminate our own people."
