Rhonda SG Actually, when I was in the States, I bought a punnet and they weren't sweet either. The elderly retired nurse I stayed with at Baltimore taught me to wash and slice all the strawberries, and then sprinkle sugar over them, and leave them in the fridge to eat as and when you want. I told her I preferred my strawberries as they are, sans sugar. The next day, I returned home to be horrified... she had sliced my entire punnet of strawberries and placed the slices in a container and sprinkled sugar all over them!!! Thank God I'm not a diabetic!
