Hey, did anyone notice there are actually lots of bugs crawling around the rice? My mum spread the rice on a wide bowl like thingy and , we saw lots of thos...

Inspired by sbst's cooking oil thread Laughing

I like to use this "Football" Brand (logo is a guy kicking a football) Soy sauce from Malaysia. Another one I like...forgot the brand but can only be bought from East Malaysia.

try Thai fish sauce instead ….. not as salty …. better flavour …..

elindra SG

Fish sauce is fish sauce. It's totally different.

We do use fish sauce but not as often as soy sauce

I also happen to have a Woh Hup Star Anise Soy sauce in my fridge…

elindra SG

I prefer their Tang Gui soy sauce. Heavenly with steamed fish!

sbst275 SG

Now got a spicy sesame sauce

elindra SG

Really?? Not seen that one yet! Need to look again. Then again, I really hate shopping at that NTUC near my place. The whole place is worst than a Shing Siong supermarket in layout.

Ok...side track.... I just found out you need a minimum purchase in NTUC Mad

sbst275 SG

New product.. NTUC is horrible, reg as Co-Op and earn so much profits...

Got meh?

elindra SG

Yeah minced meat must buy a minimum of 100g. As I'm usually a CS customer I'm really not used to shopping in NTUC. As they say...tabole tahan Mad

sbst275 SG

NTUC is dying lah..

Rotting slowly..

elindra SG

Process is too slow.
Not like they are soooo cheap Rolling Eyes
Not like they are offering better quality as well ...and let's not talk about service

sbst275 SG

Well, when ppl know, sooner or later they will die..

But there is govt ka chiu

elindra SG

Well they can just plant themselves in strategic spots.

Like my place....there is no supermarket there except for old Aunty Lucy Laughing
So if I'm lazy, I don't have a choice but to shop there since it is just 5 mins walk away.

Die-hard Pearl River Bridge user here! Mr. Green

Actually, Fountain's Garlic Soy Sauce isn't bad for some dishes - not sure if it's available in Singapore, though.

sbst275 SG

Well.. People can just avoid...

The only think they rot slowly is because of the LinkCard... $8 per mth...

elindra SG

They do have Fountain's Garlic Soy in Jason's here I think and selected Cold Storage Supermarkets.

NTUC link card? Won't affect me I don't own one Laughing

sbst275 SG

Anyway, LinkCard usage limited now...

Pearl River Soya Sauce, provision shop confirm have
