Rhonda SG If the weather's fair, I don't mind walking. In fact, everyday, I climb up a slope to get to work. I could easily alight at the bus stop where the road is paved and not uphill but I prefer the quiet, scenic route.
stellazio SG I have to climb a huge slope in my school everyday and i so hate it especially when its a hot day.
Kuali Baba SG I prefer to walk or, better still, cycle. I perspire quite easily though, and some thieving chav broke my bicycle chain in a botched attempt to steal the bike.
Wanda SG Where's your workplace, if I may ask? I walk to the MRT from home and back from MRT to home almost everyday, unless it rains or if I'm carrying lotsa stuff. Takes about 15-20mins. But it gets too hot and humid during the hot April-May months - literally end up all hot and sweaty after the short walk. Any make-up would have been washed out. The hot weather here is not too conducive for long walks.
a_splash SG when i saw the title, i thot its another of those physo about life.....so many of us with busy life.....sometimes we forget to take it easy....to take a slow stroll just enjoying the sceneries or just to relax..... yes i enjoy walking too.....and we make attempts to walk kids to school etc if we don't hv time constraint..... and i am walking my girl to school every morning now.....
