I got to watch Cowboy Bebop when Bear lent the DVD's to me. I
enjoyed the series thoroughly! And the music was incredible!!

There was a segment on Yoko Kanno's music in the DVD's, one of the
additional features. Of course, I had to view it, and learnt a bit
about the lady and her inspiration.
Turns out that she had once took a flight to the US of A, landed
herself in Nashville, Tenessee and explored the Blues scene there.
She spent months just going around the US, exposing herself to the
various genre of music, and returned to Japan, very inspired.

I loved that account!
And, I loved her attitude! The US is a place where
you HAVE to go with an open mind because there's just sooooo much
you can learn, experience and enjoy there, if you'll just keep an
open mind!
And, hmm... I love anime but I don't seem to be able to make time
to watch it.
I still have the complete series of
Fuushigi Yuugi waiting for me to start watching. Actually, I have
tons of stuff lying around at home, waiting for me to start
watching.

I really wanted to watch Ranma... but that series is almost
impossible to find!
