Rhonda SG I wonder how many of you remembered that lovely song that was sung half in Mandarin and half in English by our local singers, Joi Chua and Wendi Koh, during the National Day Parade? You can listen to the English version of the song online, and it's for free too! Step one : Click here! Step Two : Scroll down the page until you see the cute headphone icon beside the words 'Uniquely You' Step Three : Click on that icon and you will be able to hear the song... and sing along! Enjoy!! I just wish they had the Mandarin version online too... that version's better, in my opinion!
Rhonda SG Get the CD for just $7.95 at HMV! It contains the Mandarin version (YAY!!!), the English version, and the Minus One versions for both. It also has Music Videos for both versions. OK, lemme get back to practising the Mandarin version for future karaoke sessions!
Rhonda SG 我心中 有个你 没分开 jiu 开始想起 那回忆 qian我的手很紧 帮我穿越风和雨 ... Wah... ok, don't know how to post Chinese words here! Luckily, I only worked on the 1st stanza!
Rhonda SG Don't see that song no up... it's not your typical kind of NDP song, ok! It's a local song that was released on that day. The NDP song is another song.
laurence82 SG Cai Chun Jia? She is one of those few talented + good singer in the chinese music industry plus she is singaporean....
Wanda SG She is suited for singing slow ballads only. I prefer clear singing voices that are non-nasal and non-tau sar sounding (which reminds me of another so-called talented local singer ). Shall not say more in case get flamed. Tanya Chua is fine with me - local, versatile and natural (no acting sweet). Wendi Koh - woohooo...she's got powerful vocals and cool, man! Shd see her singing rock live.
Wanda SG Get away from your pc and turn on the tv, dude! You can't escape... (been using the mute button quite often...hahaha...)
the Bear SG i've been reading books, and playing games on the PC... and bowling and stuff like that.. don't think they showed that in Arts Central?
Wanda SG BTW, did you know that her current stinct is her 2nd attempt to break into the recording industry? Her first was a few years ago. If at first you don't succeed, try marketing again. Read this in ZB, I think.
the Bear SG just wondering... would they get a bunch of cool people like Force Vomit or Electrico to do the national day song? i like these 2 groups
